The Eagle's NestTreehouse is a free standing treehouse which means it is not attached to the trees but is up in the trees on pilings that are pounded down to bedrock! There is a series of walkways and bridges in place to access the treehouse. There is an exit slide from the main floor of the treehouse that you can use in an emergency or just for fun! There are 3 levels to the treehouse. The first level has a kitchenette and and small living room with a tv, eating area and a bathroom. We provide you with a basket of complimentary snacks and a fridge filled with breakfast foods and drinks. The 2nd level has a king sized bed, a TV and a bathroom with a shower. There is a spiral staircase that goes up to the third level where there is a swinging chair to just sit and admire the view of the mountains. We have a central firepit that can be used. Smores packets are available at the firepit. There is a grill that is up on the platform adjacent to the Treehouse. The Treehouse is super cozy in the winter when the snow is falling and fun in the Summer when the flowers are blooming and the daylight is just about 24 hours a day. There are Moose that wander through our yard and Bald Eagles that are always flying overhead. It is such a fun place to stay while you explore some of our local attractions such as the Reindeer Farm, Knik Glacier, Matanuska Glacier, the Musk Ox Farm, the Alaska Adventure Zipline and Horseback Riding park, Independence Gold Mine and so many hiking trails!
