Yes. Please note that Know Your Guest and the Lodge Love Guarantee is not an insurance provider or insurance policy. It is highly encouraged that you have a homeowner/landlord insurance policy, with short-term rental coverage, as a professional standard when operating a short-term rental.

Will Lodge Lovers pursue guests for damages?
Yes. With our partnership with Know Your Guest, guests are responsible for the costs associated with any damages that they might cause during a booking. A big part of our role is to ensure they honor this responsibility. Our guarantee means we initiate recovery.
Can I use the Lodge Love Guarantee damage protection if my guest is not verified with Know Your Guest?
No. Our Lodge Love Guarantee only covers a booking if the guest has been verified by either our Intelligent Guest Screening or ID Capture solution and therefore can not be used without it.
This process greatly reduces the risk of problematic guests and potential damage. That is why we have an unmatched $5,000,000 guarantee!
